BSSO ALUMNI ASSOCIATION MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the BSSO Alumni Association is to provide networking, guidance, mentorship and support to past, present and future graduates of BSSO. We are geared to gather support from community members, undergraduate students, graduate students and professionals to strengthen the ties between alumni and BSSO, while giving back to the community.

BSSOAA FOUNDERS

Lateefah, I clearly remember the exact day, over a decade ago on May 7, 2005, when you introduced to Dr. Martin and me Delnita Moore '11, who was a senior in high school, at the BSSO Banquet. On that afternoon Miss Betty Crawford, then President of the BSSO, graciously honored me with a beautiful award as an Honorary Member of the BSSO. Our Denita became President of the BSSO in 2009. The BSSO Alumni Association developed rapidly in 2015 under Delnita's leadership with the steady assistance of Vice President Breanna Bledsoe '11 and President Harmony Saunders '14.

The fact is, Lateefah, you will soon discover a multitude of faithful BSSO Alumni, academicians and community supporters from coast to coast who will assist, advise, encourage and contribute in positive ways that will surprise you. You will witness your peers make clear choices as they recalibrate their purpose in life, regenerate their sense of duty and reinvest their commitment in the BSSO. The success of the BSSO Alumni Association will continue to evolve rapidly under your leadership as Synergy is generated by all of our efforts and the ripple effects will become a source of wonderment as the BSSO Alumni Association continues to flourish in our community.
